For more than 15 years now I’ve been supporting individuals, teams and organisations to improve performance, achievement and well being. My approach is shaped by my learning in both psychological and body based theories and concepts.

My client base has grown largely through personal recommendations. I work with Elite, Semi-Pro and Amateur athletes with extremely high success rates.
Over the past 3 years, I have had a lot of emotional events that I never showed much acknowledgement to. Thanks to Nicola I have discovered strengths within myself to process these emotions more effectively. Which has not just impacted my general life, but also my athletic ability. I was introduced to Nicola through an another athlete who had seen marked improvements in his performance. Within 10 sessions with Nicola I won my first 400 metres! Her approach to therapy has been very affective, helping me understand myself better as a whole and where/what to focus on. And surprisingly fun! Nicola has an extensive knowledge of the psychology of stress and how it has an impact on the body, affecting an athletes performance. She shared techniques on how to adapt every day stess positively and use it as motivation. I still use these techniques in training and competitions.

When you make the connection between your mental state and your athletic performance, the improvements are marked – you are simply more able to focus on what is important and shut out the negative chatter. Working with Nicola has helped me to reframe why I run and was my secret weapon in my PB in the 2019 London Marathon.

Nicola enabled me to understand and manage my feelings of anxiety and perfectionism which were manifesting in my daily life and affecting my running performance. At Torun in Poland at the World Championships I felt light and ready for a racing. I was able to say to myself "Just run!" And ran in the moment and got a PB.
